Winter Break Project Post 1
Started a personal project to do over winter break. This is the largest paper I have ever had! To give you an idea of scale, the floor tiles are 12 X 12 in., and it is sitting on a large coffee table. Beautiful Lenox Paper.
I have decided to do something a little more modern. The only guildline I am using is knowing there is a county wide show in Feb. 2013 that I might submit too. I used to love to do abstracts and this is a revisit to that old love. Shape and shadow. No instructor telling me what to do with this one, just me doing what I enjoy doing for the sheer pleasure of it.

College Life
This is the piece I entered for the Gallery Show at PC. It is a landscape I did on Campus. This was Great Fun. Students kept stopping to watch and lend encouragement. The extreme detail in the picture does not carry well here though. I entered it for the Gallery Show at PC. It took runner up! It was my first try at a competitive art show and am very happy with the outcome.
Courtyard
We did alot with Landscapes this fall. I created this sitting outside my apartment door. It is the apartment courtyard. It was my first real try at a landscape :)
Dave's Chess Pieces
I created this piece with David in mind. The chess pieces are part of a set he has been creating over the last 10 years. They are stainless and bronze, designed and machined by him. I included the bar stock in the picture to show it is still a work in progress. The gears were added to give an industrial feel to the work.
Getting Started
Good Morning Friends and Family,
I have started this blog to keep you all up to date with the Art I am creating and my journey through college life. I will be adding photos of art that was created during my Drawing class last term. I hope you enjoy them.
